1. Who we are
Seer (“we”, “us”) is operated by Safwan Mahmoud, based in Egypt. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use the Seer website and platform at seerplatform.dev (the “Service”).
Questions: seerplatform@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
Account and profile. When you register, we collect your name, email address, password (stored using secure hashing), date of birth (to confirm eligibility and for account integrity), and optional preferences such as whether you want product updates by email.
Content you provide. We process prompts, uploads, designs, chat messages, and other materials you submit to the Service so we can provide AI-assisted product design features.
Usage and technical data. We may collect logs, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, session identifiers, and similar data needed for security, debugging, and service improvement.
Payments. Payments are processed by Polar (polar.sh), our merchant of record. We receive limited billing-related information from Polar (for example, subscription status) but do not store your full card details on our servers.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
• Provide, operate, and improve the Service
• Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms
• Communicate with you (for example, verification, support, and—if you opt in—product updates)
• Analyze usage in aggregate to improve reliability and features
• Comply with legal obligations
4. AI providers and subprocessors
To generate outputs, we send relevant portions of your prompts and context to third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Those providers process data on our instructions only as needed to deliver the Service. Their use may involve processing in countries other than your own. We select providers with appropriate safeguards where available.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect against cross-site request forgery, remember theme preferences where applicable, and understand basic usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it where practicable.
7. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
• Service providers who assist us (hosting, email, analytics, AI, payments) under confidentiality and purpose limitations
• Polar for billing and subscriptions, as described in their policies
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
8. Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we encourage strong passwords and careful handling of account credentials.
9. Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Your choices
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete certain personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact seerplatform@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
11. International users
If you access the Service from outside Egypt, your information may be processed in Egypt and in other countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that your data may be transferred to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will adjust the “Last updated” date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (for example, by email or a notice on the Service). Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
